Friday Fun Day

Today began with an interview at Mad Science - I think it went well! He said he would get back to me. Then I went and picked up Sarah and we went to lunch at Zinburger. We also ran errands and Sarah took a tour of our apartment. 

Here is a photo of her in our apartment. Then I got ready and we went to our friend's apartment and watched Mission Impossible. I also saw a baby lizard today that let me get close enough to take this wonderful picture.

ZonaZoo and kitty shirts

Today I slept in....a lot. I woke up and EJ was here so we all went to go to the stadium to get our ZonaZoo t-shirts! It was very exciting. And I tweeted Brother Richardson about it and ZonaZoo Official favorited it. So that was extremely thrilling.

Later on, Lauren came to join our roommate party! She brought these awesome planters that alert the media to which house is ours. 

Sydney and I ventured out to University Ave. and I bought these two cat shirts on sale. Woo hoo for cats! And sales!

America's Best Dance Crew

So today started out as usual, with me sleeping in. Then I went to run errands around town while my roomies did their respective errands as well. When I got home I successfully installed our brand new knife magnet in our kitchen. (First time using my new drill!)

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. We watched some TV and got deeply involved into a new show, Extreme Cougar Wives. Very classic television. Also, tonight was Big Brother night so Sydney made us watch that since we made her watch Pretty Little Liars. Here's a photo of a mermaid I made on my iPad while watching Big Brother.

After we had all watched TV and whatnot we brought out one of the fabulous workout CD's that my dear mother bought quite some time ago. We danced Latin Groove and Club Funk and it was fantastic.

Toyota Fun

Today Sydney was ever so kind enough to accompany me to my appointment at the Toyota dealership to get my car serviced. Then EJ came to town and took us back to his apartment so we could help him move in. Here's a photo of us doing that.

Then we went to enjoy a deliciously healthy meal at Taco Bell. We split a taco box.

Later Sydney and I walked around campus to go with EJ's roommate Clark while he got his textbooks. Along the way we found some fun photo ops.

Day two!

Day two of Syd Rich and my adventures in Tucson. Today started with sleeping in and a journey to campus to get Sydney her iPad from the bookstore. 

                                   

Then we came back home and watched some tv and fell asleep. We went to the grocery store later and made our first homemade dinner of the year!!

                                   

Pasta with chicken, mushrooms, peas, and feta sauce. (We can't say goat cheese due to Sydney's phobia of goats)

Overall it was a pretty lazy day. Very hot! Can't wait for things to pick up and for school to start back up again.

Back to School Funsies

So I've spent the last week moving into my new apartment - first REAL one. Big deal. In a way, it feels the same as it did last year, but it also feels totally different. It was sad leaving my parents behind but we have all gotten into the routine of being away from each other so it just feels like we are going back to normal. The apartment is in tip top shape and all ready for everyone else to move in and get ready!  Sydney and I are plowing along and lovin' life. The Richardsons are back home for now until EJ moves back down. Lots of exciting things happening! Old friends coming back to school, new friends entering school, job interviews, shopping, new classes, new start. I have always loved the beginning of school, and this year is no different.
