Yo, VIP. Let's kick it.

Holy weekend you guys. It was cray. Friday was the day of EJ's birthday party!!! When we got to dollar lunch, we found out that EJ wasn't staying but that's ok because we made a new friend Jaxon! He was visiting for the weekend and basically became our best friend for the weekend. He was such a ball of life and made everything about ten times more fun! After dollar lunch, Lauren, Syd and I took Jaxon to Walmart and Target to run errands and buy decorations and drinks for EJ's party. With all the fun we were having, that took a surprising amount of time. When we got home, it was crunch time. There was so much to do!! We've been piling up cardboard boxes in our backyard so we took all of those to the dumpster. We also had to do some major dishes and cleaning of our living room, complete with moving a majority of the furniture upstairs/outside so there was ample room for dancing. While my roommates were helping clean, I made 93 mini cupcakes for the party. They were so tiny! But delicious. Then the REAL party began...and lemme tell you - it was one for the books. Definitely up there with EJ's party last year. Personally, I liked the venue this year more, but I'm a little biased.

Ok so the party started with some mingling while we waited for it to fill up, then we played everyone's favorite games - the Newlywed game and the Question game. During the Newlywed game, half of us had to go outside so Lauren and I decided to go outside on the roof. She's crazy.

Then we got into the dancing. Some of us got into it more than others....Here I am featuring the classic Syd dance move. It basically goes with every song. Ever.

Clark bought EJ a Benny wig (one of the four members of ABBA) and we had a good time playing with it the rest of the night. I would say EJ looks like a natural Swede.

In addition to dancing, we also did karaoke. As you can see, getting down was a theme of the night for me. What can I say?

Those balloons symbolize that we are PARTY ANIMALS.

We even strung up lights in our backyard for people to go out and get some fresh air! Ammon and I got excited about the lights.

Here are two of the 93 cupcakes - the ones which EJ got to blow out. Even though he only got to blow out one candle because I accidentally blew one out before he got the chance.

Ok so I think I've made it pretty obvious, but for those of you who don't know, I love Annabeth. She is absolutely insane and I love people who are outgoing and don't care what others think. She was such a joy to have at the party, just as she is a joy to have in our home all of the time!

Here is my husband (from FHE) Will and I during the Question game.

And Lauren! She's so awesome and always willing to help out.

These Richardson siblings really know what's up when it comes to the ancient Japanese art of karaoke.

I think Annabeth and I are finally getting close to knowing how to twerk. Maybe we should practice more before we debut our moves in public.

Watch out for this Canadian Dynamic Duo.

Syd was basically a celebrity when it came to karaoke.

Here are EJ and Andrew just hangin'

Syd is just the cutest.

Rawr. No other words necessary.

Here are Andrew and Jaxon singing to each other. It was the highlight of my night.

EJ was the karaoke king. Look at him. Such a natural!!!

On Saturday we went to a YSA Activity that featured a missionary themed devotional and food and some awesome sports activities. And on Sunday we had church and then took engagement photos of Taylor and Natalie. It rocked. K peace
