Okay so here is my finished painting for my art class! Looking back on it now, I would have made the trees and the elephant much lighter because they are super hard to see when it's not heavily lit. Oh well! It was a learning experience.
Here are some photos of the missionaries at Waffle Tuesday this week! Easily my favorite day of the week. I love my peanut butter waffles. Elder Dayley below is doing his thang. Texting.
And here is Elder Wasden just being himself.
Sooooo Annabeth and I with our spontaneous personalities decided we were going to go on a juice fast. Here are the photos of us shopping at Sprouts to get all the vegetables and fruits for us to juice! Super excited at this point.
We basically got everything in the world.
Here is the first juice we made! Pineapple, cucumber, and strawberry.
This one is peach, orange, and carrots.
And this one is spinach, apple, cucumber, lemon, and ginger.
Here they all are in their little mason jars!! The cleanse for me lasted 2 meals. I couldn't do it anymore. It was so pulpy and gross. And I was lethargic and all I wanted was a big thing of Chipotle.
Well we had the missionaries over for dinner (all four of them!) and Lauren made us lasagna. This was my "break-the-fast". And it was awesome! Here is Sister Hendricks and I. We freaking love sister missionaries and it's been forever since 3rd ward had some!
What's this? A Book of Mormon?
I had to whip out the poker face.
Then today (Thursday), the missionaries had set up a booth outside of the Institute so they could talk to people as they were walking by! They are so gosh darn cute and righteous. Sister Eyre (the one in black) is rocking her bow.
Lots of Books to give out!
We love investigators!
So does Elder Wasden. He had the most awesome tie ever today!
Then for dinner I made myself pasta with ground turkey, kale, cannellini beans, and goat cheese. Super yummy! You could say that it's been a good week.
